I am a freelance theatre director and dramaturg. Currently Associate Director on Lord of the Rings: a musical tale, which after a successful run in Chicago is landing in New Zealand and Australia next. I am also the Associate Director of Olivier-nominated theatre company Les Enfants Terribles and was the Associate Director on west ends' new musical The Time Traveller's Wife and the origignal west end Resident Director on Back to the Future the musical (2021 - 2023)
My first taste of directing was at the University of Birmingham where I graduated in 2013. Shortly after I was awarded the regional Leverhulme Arts Scholarship for the Birmingham REP with the JMK Trust in 2015.
Alongside my work with Les Enfants Terribles, I've directed for the likes of Riverside Studios, Selladoor Worldwide, NYT, Birmingham REP, Pleasance Theatre, Park Theatre, The SJT, Arcola Theatre, Summerhall and New Vic Theatre.
I am also a dramaturg and have worked on new scripts with writers such as Martha MacDonald, Chantelle Dusette, Emily Beecher, Rachel DeLahay and Oliver Lansley.
Outside of directing I have worked as a Casting Director across various shows and I run WildChild which is dedicated to creating social mobility through the arts for talent from unrepresented backgrounds. And acted as the Director Practitioner for JMK West Midlands from 2022 - 2023.
