'Undeniably provocative...'

Summer Camp for Broken People | Pleasance Islington, Summerhall Ed. Fringe

Summer Camp for Broken People by Emily Beecher was an autobiographical show about sexual violence, motherhood, mental health and, ultimately, love. This one-woman show, based on writings while Emily was at a psychiatric hospital, shines a light into the darkest of places.

The show ran at Summerhall for the whole of the Edinburgh Fringe 2023, and was nominated for an OffFest Award.

A world premier of Laura Jacqmin's play directed by Josh Roche. The piece, intimately, saw audience members sitting within the set.
